Repros Color, Inc., Northeast Ohio’s leader in large format graphics, has recently acquired the first Graphics One Fuzion UV printer in the US, offering the ability to print on both rigid and flexible substrates utilizing the latest in industrial UV curable imaging technology. Repros Color is a Graphics One (GO) partner, responsible for sales and technical support of the GO Fuzion UV Printer, with exclusive representation of US Fuzion product sales east of the Mississippi.

The GO Fuzion UV printer’s ability to transition from flatbed printing to roll to roll capabilities in less than five minutes, allows the flexibility to increase market reach with longer run banner, fabric and other flexible substrate printing projects. The Fuzion utilizes electronic height adjustment in order to accommodate flexible or rigid materials up to 1.6 inches thick.

The GO Fuzion technology is based on a Japanese 87-4 print engine with two Hybrid UV lamps allowing for auto on/off power and extended lamp life.  The Fuzion printer is available in 4 and 6 color configurations, imaging up to 400 x 800 DPI and imaging speed up to 248 square feet per hour.   The base GO Fuzion machine uses industry standard, Spectra 30 picoliter, 128 heads and is field upgradeable to the Spectra 40 picoliter, 256 heads, offering increased production speed.  Based on a large project recently run on the GO Fuzion UV, ink utilization is under $.020 per square foot.

GO’s UV Fuzion Ink was developed specifically for Spectra print heads used in the GO Fuzion UV Printer. Spectra ink jet technology utilizes highly sophisticated manufacturing techniques to meet the exacting requirements of commercial and industrial markets. GO Fuzion UV Ink delivers outstanding color gamut, adhesion, color fastness and instant drying capability.

Repros Color joined forces with Graphics One of Burbank, CA in 2005, to provide the eastern US with an innovative product that offers full industrial imaging capabilities for the best value in the industry. The basic GO Fuzion package has a list price of $94,995 and the Fuzion Ink is priced at $150 per liter. The availability of the unit is immediate.
Additional value is realized beyond the initial product investment with the elimination of supply costs for paper, adhesives and laminating materials.
